The 2012 Season is HERE! Get ready to CHOMP!
Welcome to the home of the Shenandoah Sharks
The Shenandoah Sharks are a summer league swim team affiliated with the Northwest Aquatic League. We feel that our swim team is truly the place where the best begin. The focus of our swim team is teamwork,sportsmanship and friendly competition. Swimmers from ages 4 to 18 (as of May 31, 2012) are welcome to swim for the Sharks.
Our coaches focus on stroke refinement, speed and endurance with all our swimmers. Summer swimming is unique in that it is a team sport and yet an individual competition to strive for new best times. Swim team is hard work, but can and should be fun along the way. Our motto is "Personal development in a team environment."
Our season can be successful only with parental involvement. With active volunteers, our meets and our practices run quickly, smoothly and with less distractions and delays for the swimmers.
2012 Registration Closed
We have met our 200 swimmer cap in place for the 2012 season.
As a result registration for the 2012 season is now closed.
As registration is not complete until paid there may be some spots open at a later date.
We will post on our FB page if we open registration again.
Attention All Parents
As you all know each meet requires a number of volunteers to make it successful. However, there is also a lot of work that is done during the offseason and before any swim meets or even practices can begin.
We are currently in need of several positions on the board and in other critical areas. Please click on the name of the position to see a description of the job. Positions in red are still open.
